CUA - A Globally Engaged University

The Center for Global Education (CGE) at the Catholic University of America (CUA) fosters a sense of international community that builds on the university's strong intellectual and Catholic mission. CGE coordinates and facilitates university-wide global education by sponsoring international exchanges of students and faculty and serving as a resource for departments and schools on campus.

Education Abroad: CUAbroad

The Edcuation Abroad office develops and administers international educational opportunities overseas for CUA and non-CUA students.

Intensive English Program: IEP

IEP is an ESL academic program for undergraduate and graduate students who need to increase their English language proficiency before or after admission to a degree-granting program at CUA.

International Student & Scholar Services: ISSS

ISSS seeks to provide an optimal educational experience for international students, faculty, researchers and other visiting scholars coming to the University.

CUA Rome Center

The CUA Rome Center offers students an introduction to the riches of Rome and its place in the development of Western culture.

Scholarships for Hispanic-American Student Study in Israel

The Israel Scholarship was born out of a partnership with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund and is intended to provide opportunities for the best and brightest of the Hispanic-American community to study abroad in Israel. Both graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for scholarships.

The Leo S. Rowe Pan American Fund, an educational loan program of the Organization of American States (OAS), helps citizens from Latin America and the Caribbean finance their research or studies at U.S. accreditied institutions by providing up to $15,000 in interest free loans.

Fulbright-mtvU Fellowship

This component of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program is a special opportunity for up to four U.S. students to pursue projects around an aspect of international contemporary or popular music as a cultural force for expression.
